Why is the FXR a sub-forum,without the FXR there would be no Dyna model.We FXR owners should be on top of the heap?

 

The FXR was spawned by the Dyna line.

 

When was the Dyna first produced

 

How could the FXR be spawned by the dyna when the FXR was created back in mid 80's

 

Ok, so it was a bad choice of words. How about looking at it this way.
The FX Superglide(first produced in 1971) and the other FX series bikes were assimilated(in 1990) into what is now known as the Dyna model. Since the FXR(first produced in 1981) is an FX series and a Superglide. The Superglide is a Dyna, therefore the FXR is a Dyna.

 

mine is a low glide not a super glide.............
