Default Motorcycle Jack

Does anyone use the Sears motorcycle jack, the yellow aluminum one on their Dyna? Did you buy the Dyna lift attachments too? Thanks

P.S. Here is the Lift MOTORCYCLE LIFT

Don't have the yellow one, I have a 2-year old red/black one and yes, I had to purchase the Dyna extensions from HD. Great jack though.

HD sells a Dyna adapter kit. JP Cycles has it too.

I have the Sears lift and a Dyna. You do need the attachments or else you need to shim up with 2x4's on three spots on the jack. I just ordered the lift adapter from J&P (part Number 901-001) for $26.99. (This price is 10% off regular price because I placed the order at the bike show in Chicago last Sunday.) I've been using the jack with home-made 2x4 blocks for a couple years.

I don't think it matters which jack you use. In order to lift the dyna frame, you need to use an adapter to allow the jack to pick up the bike on the frame. The HD ones just slip on the frame in 3 spots so the jack rests on them and not the bottom of the motor.
You just need to be careful when you put the jack under the bike you don't knock/twist the adapter on the frame before lifting.

HD part #98965-99 $21.95 online or from your local stealer.

I bought a motorcycle jack from Northern Hydraulics and I didn't have to buy the adapters. I have an 04" FXD and an 06 FXDCI and it lifts both easily.
