Do Non-US bikes also run lean?
Previous experience with fuel injected sportbikes showed that the Australian model did not respond correctly to the US power commander maps.
The explanation I was given is the base tune is different for different countries.
Is this the case with the 06 Dynas as well ?

All I know is that my dealer said they use their own customised downloads and that the US ones are not ideal for our scoots. Now I am almost certain that Aussie & Kiwi bikes are identical, so go check with your local.

Good question, I have been wondering that for a while. Maybe other countries have less tight legislation and so it would make sense to make the bikes run better by being less lean. On the other hand, it may just not be worth the while of the company to tailor tune every bike according to where its going. It would be interesting if anyone has a definitive answer on this question???
