Default mirror problem, need help...

I bought a set of mirrors from demonscycle.com that I had a little trouble with when I mounted. The left works fine cause there is a little offset peice that the flasher mounts to. The right flasher actually mounts directly to the mirror stem. Does anyone have a spare offset setup from a flasher/mirror change? I think I can put that setup on the right side and make it work. If anyone has tried this and knows that it won't work please tell me before I get into it, or if someone just has a better way of doing it. I know that I can move the flashers down, but I don't have the time right now. Thanks everyone.

That new mirror setup has a bolt that comes up from the bottom thus eliminating the flasher mounting point since stock it mounts to the mirror. I didn't realize that the left and right side mounting setups are completely different.

Just check to make sure the bolt is a 5/16-24 then go yo your local hardware store and buy a SS Set screw that is long enough to use your stock hardware.

I have those same mirrors and did not have a problem, the flasher mount comes in 2 pieces the upper prtion is the nut for mounting the mirror, the the lower portion goes on to mount the flasher. Unless the 08 is different from my 07 SuperGlide Custom.

This is the left side with part # 18 offsetting the flasher so it doesn't actually mount to the mirror. Theright side mounts directly onto the mirror stem. When I swapped the mirrors out the left side works great but the right now has nowhere to mount the flasher. I am just wondering if anyone has a spare #18: 67829-88 ball receptacle. I think this a new setup for '08.
