my left side mirror wont stay put. The actual mirror that rotates on that ball keeps slipping. When i move the mirror around to the place where i want it and let go, it falls down. Of course in that range where i would need it to stay its all loosy goosey. Do i have to now replace the whole mirror since i think its the ball itself has become stripped or something, or is there another fix out there? I thought about just supergluing it in place, but then it would be stuck like that. Yeah i can move the mirror where it will stay, but its not in a position where i can see anything behind me out of it.
Are these stock or aftermarket? On my last bike, I tried 3 different types of aftermarket mirror sets and had problems with all 3. I DID superglue them and they wouldeventually vibrate loose after awhile. And they would usuallyvibrate loose at inopportune times like when I was on a long trip.

my guess would be after market, they were there when i bought the bike and he had put on different mirror (handles?). Superglue it is then.
I had a set like that and ended up putting the slightest crimp in the mirror near the ball. Not enough to be notiiceable but enough to tighten the mirror at the ball.
Are there 2 little screws on the back of the mirror? If so just tighten them up a little but be careful its easy to break the glass outta the mirror if you over tighten, trust me I know from experience.
Before I bought replacement mirror I would take the mirrors off the bike. Place glass down on a towel on work bench and with a center punch, ping two small little dimples into the back of the mirrors right at the ball and see if that would tighten things up.
