I want to ditch the right side mirror on my '06 Street Bob. Problem is, it is holding up my indicator. I figured I would take the mirror off and replace it with a bolt - should do the trick I imagine.
Would anyone know the size / length bolt I would need to use? I imagine it is in the service manual or perhaps someone has a stock set of mirrors laying around and could measure for me. I know I could take it off and see but then I would have to put it back on to go to the store only to come home to take it right back off.
A 5/16-24 is what you need to thread into the turn signal. 1 3/4" length would probably work, but I'll let you measure and decide for yourself on length.

Much appreciated...
It really doesn't take that long to take it off, measure, and then re-install. Or you could just buy a 1.5, 1.75, and 2 inch bolts. They are cheap and you woundn't have to worry about making a second trip. I know how bad traffic can be in Austin...so you won't want to make more than one trip.
