Default mirror thread size

I'm looking for the size of the thread that holds the mirrors on an 07 Street Bob to the turn signals......
I want to dump the r/s mirror and want to put a S/S bolt through there to hold the R/S turn signal....

10-24? I don't have stock mirrors, but that is what my mirrors use. I usually take a bolt/nut/whatever down to Ace and figure it out by sight

Took a mirror and bolt (2013 Street Bob) to Lowe's today and confirmed the size.

5/16 x 24 (metric equivalent = 8mm x 1.0)
