Cut off or not?

Just took off my belt guard on my 99 Wideglide debating wether or not to cut the mounts for it off the swing arm.

I would suggest keeping the tabs. When the sleeve of the sweatshirt/ jacket you have "secured" back there ends up getting pulled into the pulley and wraps itself around the rear end pulling the bike into a left lean suddenly you may rethink why the moco put that guard on there. I've seen it done.

Right after a small pebbel kicks up and pops your belt,You will need those tabs to put the guard back on [&:]

what happened to the "who gives a ****" part of the poll...lol, you will need them to put the gaurd back on after replacing the belt.

ok ok they will stay i dont ride this bike on any long trips because i am one of the stupid ones who has over extended my credit to own two bikes but i will leave them on . thanks for the input
