I like the turn down for the 2 into 1 pipes, but I like the turn outs on staggered duals. People in the lane next to you can hear the turn outs a little better, but the turn downs can kick up some dust and grit, they won't like either.

It all depends.
My buddy has street sweepers and I ran with turn outs. He would kick the dirt up and then I would come along and shoot it into people walking on the side of the road. Kind of funny but cruel.
