Am I the only one that has trouble finding the kick stand on a Fat Bob? I find it is easier to just reach down and push it out with my hand. Is there an easy way to modify this to make it easier to find with my boot? I have Boss bags on my Bob and they don't help.
The extender was one of the first things I put on the bike, even before I left the dealership.
Someone needs to post a pic of what it looks like on their bike in the "up" position. How bad does it look, or don't you even notice it. I find mine everytime with my heel, but it would be nice to have something a little easier to get ahold of.

Really, it's not noticeable. I don't have the pic you request and there is no reason it should fall off if you tighten the bolt is has that clamps down on the original. Additionally I used red loctite. Here is a better pic.
The jiffy stand with the extension wraps around the primary chaincase so the extension sticks out just around the case. From this angle, if it was in the up position, I am not sure you would see it, maybe just the tip.

the extension was my first mod, all you see when it is up, is the chrome angle tab and center rubber, the rubber is really only seen as a rider looking down. 39.00 a small price to pay for the convience imo,
happy trails,
+2 for what 2007fxdc said. I put one on my FXD after dropping it when I first got it. It works but it's kind of crappy and kept loosening up. PITA. I took the extension off and now it just comes naturally. Give it some time before you waste your money.
