I just found this forum a few days ago and must say that I have enjoyed it tremendously. I have been riding for many years but have never owned a Harley. That is about to change. Although I just turned 46 on 2/12, I must say that Harley's new Street Bob has really caught my eye. At first I had decided it would be a Road King Custom or Street Glide but now I'm not sure anymore. I plan on renting them both in the near future to help me decide. There's something about that Street Bob though that just looks tough and fun to ride. Maybe I'm just going through mid-life crisis but if that's the case I'm going to enjoy every minute of it! Thanks for all the wonderful posts and I'll be stopping by often. I'll keep you posted which model I end up with.
it's a disease that we all got a long time ago .and i will asure you what you choose you will enjoy dont get in a hurry take your time you want to get what is you welcome to the forum and keep the wind in your face.
Howdy, welcome to Harley country. It seems that a lot of people are interested in the new Bobber. If you decide to buy one, you will have a lot of company on this forum from other Bobber owners. Good luck
I have a super glide and I am glad I went with it, nothing against softails but I think the Dynas are well balance and a more sporty ride( ride as in sitting on and givin it the gas, not lookin at) I agree with the other guys ride what fits not what looks
I just returned from the local Harley dealership. Unfortunately after sitting on the Street Bob, I dont think that'll be my next bike. It felt great but I'm afraid it wont be large enough for out-of-town rides (200-300 miles) or Interstate speeds. I'd love hearing from those of you that have already done this. I'd still like to rent one soon but I'll have to look more closely at the Road King or Street Glide.
