Got beat by a Metric last night.
It was about 9:00 PM and I pulled out on the 2 lane road from the Cematary. I know it's kinda wierd to be at the cemetary late at night. My late wife's favorite roses are blooming so I pick a few and put some on her grave a couple nights a week. So I pull out and turn it up to the speed limit 50 MPH. I see in my mirror a bike coming up fast the guy gets on my tail and rides thier till we come to a stop sign. I move towards the center stop and wait for the guy to pull next to me. He does we look at each other and nod. He pulls out I stay rigt next to him he hits the throttle so do I. He got the jump and pulled about 15 feet ahead. I hit the rev limitter and was to slow with the shift so he gets another 15 feet ahead I ht 3rd just right and start catching up as I am moving over to the next lane cause I know he's going to look back to see where I am, these guys think they are a mile ahead I don't want to run into him when he lets off the gas. Sure enough he looks back only to find I'm right next to him. A curve coming up so I ease off the gas the guy nails it again and looses me. But I was grinning from ear to ear and happy with the way my big slug performed. 2007 Lowrider stage 1, saddle bags and foreward controls.

Drag racing or road racing a street version HD is like trying to remove a bolt with a pair of pliers... it may get you by in an emergency but, bottom line, it's the wrong tool for the job.
