Default Need suggestions - adding different foot position

Another item that I was thinking about adding to my bike was something that would let me alter my foot position. I currently have the Kury forwards on my bike. I don't want to change or extend these as they are in a position where I'm a bit stretched out but still have great control. I also am running drag bars which I don't want to change as it put my reach comfortably slightly forward and slightly down, and again provides great control. My options I am considering are:

Lindby Highway Bars - http://www.lindbycustom.com/cart/pro...cat=258&page=1

Kuryakyn Mustache Bars - http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3248

Mid-control position pegs - don't know about parts for these

My questions are:

1. What experience do any of you have with either of these solutions?
2. Do I loose lean clearance with the Lindby?
3. Are either the Lindby or Kury options well suited for drag bars? I don't want to feel like I've been folded in half.
4. Does anyone have or can recommend something I can stick on the bike to allow mid-location pegs? I don't have the stock parts, but I do have a set of ISO Pegs if I can find the right mount.

Suggestions?

I doubt that the crash or mustache bars will work with forwards given that they mount in the same place. You would also have a reach problem with drag bars if your feet are up & out in front of you.
Mid controls are about your only option & the base to mount them should be there already. I run mids with heel rests along with a Lindby Bar because I justam not comfortable withforward controls.

Being able to change my footing is the very reason I didn't go with forward controls. I love having the option to change when or if I get uncomfortable on the forward pegs.

I have the 2006 Lowrider so when I put on forward controls I left the mid-control position pegs on the bike. Works well for me.

+1 on mid pegs and forwards best of both worlds. Also the cleanest solution IMO.

The bike had the forward on it when I bought it used. As I don't have my mid-peg mounts or any of the hardware what are my options to mound a set of standard Kury ISO pegs, which I already have?

I have an 07 wide glide and picked up mid controls for next to nothing off ebay. I am very happy with having both sets of pegs and they bolted right on. The only problem is that with the Wide glide heat shields the center peg mount is very close to shield.

i have a 07 Wide Glide...i got the mustache bar....i like being able to stretch out a little further, but the only problem with it is, that with my boots (size 11.5) when i would hit the brake pedal, my toe would hit the bar, and thus i wouldnt be able to push the brake LOL. so after the test ride, i moved the bar up. my father in-law who is about 5'8" cant really get his feet on the highway pegs, but i am 5'11", and i can hit them fine, even with 16" apes. i do think it will bea little cumbersome for you with drag bars. i think maybe down the line, i may put some sort of mid mount pegs on, just for something else....but for now it works for me

I have a Fat Bob with forward controls. The Lindby mustache bar fits just fine. Except my right boot does hit the inside of the bar when braking.
