I have the 2006 Lowrider so when I put on forward controls I left the mid-control position pegs on the bike. Works well for me.

+1 Same here I just leave them folded up for short trips on long rides I put em down and can change position if i need to
Maybe check wiyh you dealer if he has take off's hanging around or some one on the forum may have mounts also check ebay

I have the stock peg location, added foward pegs and also use the passenger pegs for another place to put my feet on a long ride.

Mr Moto,

Do you have any pics of that mustache bar ?? I've been looking at that for my Wide Glide, since it can be adjusted, and moved higher out of the way of the Brake.

Respects,
Ed

I went the same route as Mr. moto. If you adjust the floorboards it u can move your feet from just about the mid mount position to extended. http://denniskirk.com/jsp/product_ca...1806&mmyId=

I have forward controls with Kuryakyn dually pegs w/heel restsand installed the engine guard from a Wide Glide on it and put some HD highway pegs on that. Yes it will fit but there is a chance it may hit the fender when the forks compress.
I have them set so I can rest my feet on the highway pegs and put my heels on the dually pegs at the same time, pretty comfortable for highway travel.

Best pictures I have of them, the highway pegs are angled back a little bit, 10-15 degrees maybe.

Ed,

The mustache bar allowed me two more foot positions. Feet straight on the pegs and on top of the bar.I had a roll bag on so I was push forward allowing me to place my foot on top of the pegs. Here's some pics on the bike.
