Forward control help..
I need longer forwards..i have an '89 xlh with forward controls, but i'd really like to have them a few inches further out there...i've searched everywhere&they simply do not exist.-new forwards are all over ebay, but nothing extended or an extension kit is avail. Unless you have at least an '04....thinkin about listing my bike just because you cant get anything for it.

Get highway bars and mount foot pegs to the highway bars - should probably get another 6 inches or so of forward clearance. Of course you'll still have the forward controls to operate in town but you'll be able to stretch out and enjoy the pegs on the highway bars on the open road.

Mid-usa used to make them. I don't know about the quality. If they're still in business.
You cant go too far forward. You'll interfere with the front wheel on turns. Realistically, I'd look into boards.
