Cool highway bars

I have an o3 lowrider, I bought it used and it came with highway bars, I wanted foward controls and it said that highway bars and foward controls will not work together, any one know if they really will work together or if you can configure from another type bike ??
thanks

the forward controls mount where the highway pegs do so - no they wont work together. Even if they did they would put your feet in essentially the same (ok a couple of inches apart maybe) position so what would be the point?

i am pretty sure a company makes the bars that will work with the forwards... if not find a welder that will be able to change the shape of the crash bars so they do work... it is nice to have a crash bar for when those OPPS moments happen!

Kuryakin has a bar that will work but it is not really a crash bar for those oops moments... also what about lindy bars?.. they may have one for fowards!

Default Bars with forward controls work.

My 2007 Dyna with forward controls. I put the crash bar on and I think it helps if I drop the bike, but I mounted some pegs that will allow me to stretch more and change positions for my feet, a plus for longer rides.
