I am impressed you handled it so well. I would like to say that I would too but that would be a lie. I'm glad the damage wasn't too bad. Have her ride on the back from now it. It'll be a lot safer
So, you have never dropped a bike?
You know what they say....those that have dropped and those that will drop.
Glad she's not hurt and the bike has only minor dings! Sounds like a bad habit to break.
Push her to keep riding, I have dropped many bikes thru the years, always felt bad, but never considered giving up.
Its a great thing to have your woman riding her own machine, my wife isa great rider and we have a blast!
Goood luck to ya'll!
O man that sucks. My wife don't ride so can't say I'll be faced with that issue. I have the stock parts as well and would be willing to give them up for you if you needed them for nuttin. Just let me know. Hurry up and get her back to norm and good for you on the calmness towards the wife.
Sounds like the bike was just too big for her. Get her one for her and she won't be so nervous and will probably relax and enjoy it. She can have hers and leave the mens bikes to the mens!
Tell her now she'sa real biker...most of us have dropped 'em at least once (he he he)...my wife took out a mail box with the side of my Harley-Ford F-150. No use screaming and yelling...it can be fixed. Thankfully she wasn't hurt.
Kudos on the calm head. Few guys handle someone else dropping their bike very well. Even if it is their significant other. I agree with the bros above. Don't let her quit, get her fit! Find the bike that suits her size and I'll bet she gets back in the saddle. I gotta recommend the nightster though. My ole lady loves the nighty! Stay away from those danged metrics. I'm pretty sure they cause cancer or something!
