Paid $13,495 from Capital City H-D in Madison, WI where they offer $2,000 off MSRP on ANY Big Twin and always have 20% off all H-D accessories/clothing. Bought my Fat Bob in December and just brought her home this past week ... lovin it!

Yeah, that doesn't work any more... believe me, I called. I'd have flown out there for a $2000 discount since airfare and gas would have still left a big difference over what I can get here! Not to mention a couple of days riding with nothing else on the agenda.
This was a great deal if you could have gotten in on it, but don't base your negotiations today on this. Sadly, Fatbobs are in short supply and it's spring. If you can get MSRP you're probably about average and if you can get some store credit, you're probably doing OK.
I paid MSRP, which I don't have a problem with. Had to go to Wyoming to find it tho. In Austin everyone was adding $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 to MSRP. I will not pay more than MSRP.
I walked inti a dealership back in January, they told me atleast a 4 month wait. Stumbled into another to look at the Rocker and there she was.
Havent seen too many in any dealerships around Illinois or Wisconsin. He might be better off negotiating his post purchase accessory discount.
