They are shiny and gold, so I'm guessing ALOT

Doubles for my ZRX are in the 1200 range.

Default 2001 Superglide Sport

The best handling Harley by far is the Superglide Sport and the Superglide TSport. I switched from a Buell to this and I love it.

as far as handling goes just the stock fxd.less rake.thats why the sportbikes have no rake to them.they handle best.but of course this is my opinion.im not saying other dynas dont handle good just i belive the fxd superglide handles better.also i have ridden most of them

Yeah but the FXD has the same rake as all the others except the Wide Glide.

...I think it's amazing that there are three pages on this. The answer to this question is not subjective.

Better power/weight, less rake, more lean, more clearance = better handling.

The people building sportsbikes know what they're doing... Not a sportsbike in the world comes raked out, lowered, with forward controls.

Of the current production models, the FXD is the clear, correct answer.

It is the lightest, has the least amount of rake, the most ground clearance, and the greatest lean angle. The custom would be next, all the "custom" stuff racks on an extra 15 ilbs.

The law rider is in between for weight, but is lowered in the rear. If I were buying a Dyna to hotrod (which I did, and did) I'd but a low-rider, and stick some higher shocks on it. But that's because I like the look, and the tach setup.

Out of the box, the FXD will be the best performing Dyna.


But just take a look at the specs, and you'll see not by much. And sorry guys, the Wide Glide is the worst... but it's not about performance.

just ordered some rolling sands wheels..

I was getting the shocks and the inverted front end from howard but something came up ..
The ohlins215 were $1k Shipped
I sent my front end out to traxxion dynamics and they did a ak-20 kit with rebound and compression damping
and it feels really good.Bike should be done in 4 wks..I wanna send u pics but i lent out my slr to my bro for vacation.I will send em
I know ya waiting..Lol
