glad all 3 of you are ok. What a detailed report too. I've been in 2 accidents and to this day I do not remember what happened during or after the accident. I hope we all go another 38+ years without another accident.

So glad to hear all are well for the most part!!!!! You can always get another ride, but to have a wife like that is beyonds words!!!!!!! Hold her tight and keep her close. I was ran off the road by a semi on 7-17-07 at 55mphwith my 3 week old Electra Glide Classic and my wifewas not there during it.
I was left in the ditch and he did not even touch his brakes or use his turn signal just pulled out to pass the car he was following as I was beginning to pass him. My wife arrived about 45 minutes after a brother officer saw me coming out of the ditch and called work to put out an APB on the rig. No avail. Gone!!
She is a RN and was so pi--ed off she would not even talk to me for me putting the bike in the ditch and thatwe were not going to be able to go to Hog Rock that coming weekend!!!!
I walked away with 6 broke ribs and later determined to be $11,820 damage to the bike!!!!! No lid or jacket, just uniform!!!
So you w/o question have a great wife and life rideing companion. It took 6 months to get my bike back and it took another 2 months to just get my wife on it after listening to her b--ch about ME being a bad driver!!!!

glad you and the wife are ok BB- minor injurys.... i know some when they had a wreck are too scared to ride again... that is the way to do it.brush it off and get back in the saddle

All the posts about accidents really are scaring the hell out of me hahah. Only been riding for about 3 months myself and hopefully i get a bit more experience before my skills are tested like this.
