Streetbob suicide shift????
Lookin for info on fab'n a suicide shift for my '06. Pics and any info would be freakn super......My shift rod is gonna be a engine strut from a UH-60 helicopter...very light but strong. I will post pics of completion when done....just need some ideas and basic guidance on setn it up

I woudl like to see it as well.. now are you going to do a full suicideshift, complete with foot clutch or you just going to do the looker with the shift bracket attached to the linkage? i have seen a few, alll of which use the horn location bracket as the piviot point... (works well)... I love the look of a suicide shifter, however, i slam though my gears way to hard not to have both hands on the bars... not to mention at slow speeds they SUCK!A few years back one of my dads buddies bought a bike with one... he loved the look, hated the ride... sold it shortly there after... I would love to see what you come up with... please post some pics!

Been thinkin abt doing it myself too but all the cons joe pointed out are on my mind too. I do alot of 45 and under riding in traffic. Will prob suck having to shift alot.. def wanna see some pics tho bro
