Well..... just my opinion, but opinions are like a$$holes... yadda yadda yadda
I'd phorget the chin spoiler.
All the other black out ideas you have I like! I also like the idea of black grips with a bit of accent, and maybe even something a bit *retro*. I added these Kuryakyn Sabre grips on mine. Black rubber, kinda retro, with a touch of chrome. If you want something different phor your plate, you could try a laydown license plate holder. Still on the phender, but instead of being perpendicular with the ground, it phollows the phender better.
Throttle lock? There's a couple of products out there. I like the Throttle mate. It attaches to the tension nut and gives you a thumb lever you can use to lock the throttle in position. Or there's the Throttle Boss, also phrom Kuryakyn. Works with their ISO grips, but not the sabres.
Hey phreak...does kuryakyn make this throttle mate??? If so, do you need to have kuryakyn grips to use it? I've been looking for something a little better than the cheap throttle rocker (palm rest) thing I have now.
Thanks buddy
Nope, Throttle Mate isn't by Kuryakhn. Throttle BOSS is Kuryakhn, and works with their grips. With the Throttle MATE, you can phlip the lever with your thumb and let go of the throttle and it will keep on going.
maybe the black spokes maybe a bit much.like someone else said do a few things then stop and check it out for a bit.thats why im asking what yall think.ya know sometimes you need the opinions of others cause maybe theve seen it before and it may look bad or it may be a crucial piece to top the look you are going for.thanx to all of you so far to contributing i will hold off on the black spokes the reason i dont want to powder coat my own is i dont know how to lace and unlace a wheel i heard its a bitch.
Yeah I think alot of us BOB owners will be spending as much money on "blacked-out" items as the others who spend theres on chrome!!! I too have thought about powdercoating my rims black(except the spokes). Also looking at the wrinkle head covers from a night train or I saw a super glide on here with a blacked out motor. The more the better. I am just limited on the funds at the moment.
