How do you install the V&H quiet baffles into the HS Straightshot Slip-On's? I just got them today from another member (thanks, yet again, flynavy), and was wondering how to do it.
They come with packing material looking fiberglass stuff, taped to the actual baffle. Do I take the tape off, and wrap the fiberglass looking stuff around them, then install them? Do the pipes need to come completely off for the install? Just feeling a little dumb on this with no directions, even on their web site...
If they are like my Big shots then you need to remove the exhaust shield to get to teh bolt that holds the baffle in. You leave the tape on the baffles as it wil burn off anyway.
