Muffler Opinions Wanted
I have a '07 Low Rider. Want to get "Slip-on" mufflers. I hear Rush sounds great with little performance gain. Vance & Hines Straightshots "Standard Baffle" sound good and give definite performance gain. Any experienced advice? Thanks!

I would go to a local dealership on a nice Saturday after noon, or hang out at your local tavern that has a "bike night' and hear for yourself what different bikes sound like with different mufflers on them. Most bikers don't mind a quick question about what kind of mufflers and size baffles they have. When you hear the sound you want...you will know.

I have an 07 wg and just installed V&H straightshots with the standard baffles. The sound great if you like it loud. Which I do. I am(with the advice of the forum) going to try the quiet baffles. They say it lowers it by 3db or so but gives it that great deep throatie rumble. I got mine new off ebay from american classic motors for $190 + s/h. Was here in a flash. not to bad to install either.
