I just put some new pegs on for the wife and noticed that the right side pegs sticks out over the exhaust pipes 2 - 3 inches further than the left one. I am not sure if this is stock, but it looks odd if you are looking at the bike from behind. Has anyone noticed this on theirs? If so, do they make an extension piece to make them even? After noticing this it is bugging the crap out of me!
my right side sticks out about 3/8 further than left(To clear exhaust)not noticable at all they are factory on FXDC 2-3 " sounds like one of the mounts are wrong

RE: Dyna Passenger Pegs
I noticed this on my 94 FXDL and a clever machinist friend of mine measured the discrepency and crafted a part from a piece of steel square bar stock. Painted it black, looks great gave the rider a little more room on the left.
Picked up a 2008 FXDF last week and noticed the same thing.
They certainly aren't even that's for sure, neither side to side or front to back.....but I don't sit back there so I don't really care. [8D]
Yea, my buddy brought that to my attention the other day. He was looking for a washer to tighten his up(floorboards the previous owner installed are loose). The dealer told him that part didnt exist, went to look and he's got an extention that mine doesnt. Not sure where it came from, but his is now even and mine isnt.. Dont really care, myself.. I can only see one side at a time and I dont ride back there..
