I'm wanting to lower the rear end of my 06 Super Glide Custom, but I can't find the length of the stock shocks. I'm looking at Progressives 412 or 440 series.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Don
I have a Streetbob and it's 12" on center. Don't remember where I came upon the center to center measurement of the SG shocks but they are 12-5/8" or as another poster said, 12.625". Installing Streetbob shocks on a SG lowers the SG by about 1/2". I sold mine to another forum member sometime back and they lowered his SG about 1/2".

07StreetBob,
Were did you find this, or did you just measure yours?
Don
Stock shocks are 12.6" eye to eye. I replaced mine with 11.5" Progressive 418's and it dropped the rear 1".
I also installed the progressive lowering fork springs and dropped the front 1".
Thanks to all that responded.
Stock length IS 12.5. From Drag Specialties Fat Book.
I bought the Progressive 412's 11 inch HD. Still adjusting pre-load, but rides very nice.
Just ordered Progressives Lowing Kit for the front.
