So I had to ride down to Daytona on Friday to J&P cycle in order to get an AirHawk seat cushion for my upcoming ride to NC. I pull up in front of the store and there is this bike that looks remarkably like my Fat Bob in styling but something about it is different. Significant something's to be exact as from what I could tell it was probably a Honda. Never could find the owner to find out exactly what it was. It was definitely an older bike as it had some wear and tear on it. But I had to laugh at the similarities between it and my bike. See attached photo.
I would say that it is a Suzuki Marauder. Very popular here in Sweden. They look very much like the fat bob, but it looks like a cheap toy next to a harley when you take a closer look at them. Very affordable.

I do believe you may be right! Thanks for letting me know. I had no idea what it was. It had a radiator on the front so I figured it was probably something like that. I prefer to believe that Harley was copying Exile motorcycles and not Suzuki's when they came up with the Fat Bob though! LOL
It is a maruader , and at the risk of sounding like a jerk.....it came out YEARS before the fat bob...ooops ... could harley be cloning the harley clones.....
P.S. when you gonna sell me the stock black mirrors off your bike so I can get these goofy chrome ones off.....!!!!

ROFL, I'll think about it! Have to see if they'll work on my husband's bike first. If they don't, I'll let you know.
And you aren't sounding like a jerk. I was looking at a couple of websites and the marauder has been around for some time now. Like I said, I prefer to be compared to Exiles!! LOL Those are some bad looking bikes.
did you check out that link ???? If you saw it with the stock exhaust , you may have had to say something to this "copycat"!!!!
exiles are cool , they need to make 19" and 17" tires with white walls , there are a ton of street bob owners that want them......I am one of them...
