Ok so ive doing some reading about the ecm upgrade that should be done if your going with a stage1 intake and pipes and i've seen some ppl talk about a part# that shows on the invoice. I dont have a part#... mine says "Performance Calibration" and paid 145.00 CAN to get it done. I just want to make sure i got what i paid for... this was all done at the dealer before i even picked up my bike. I guess im concerned because i thought i heard 3 loud pops yesterday while driving around town yesterday. I never heard it before that ... or again after that day of riding. My bike currently only has about 450 miles on it now.
*edit* My son was with me and he said there was some construction going so that may account for the "pops" however im still confused on the whole part# thing. Can anyone enlighten me? Perhaps i'm completely confused about the whole thing?
There is a part #, I can't remember what it was, but my invoice had it on it. I paid $150.00
Your popping would not be due to stg 1 download, check your muffler clamps, any exhaust leaks will cause decel popping.
Thanks... well i emailed my stealer... ill find out on monday what his response is... perhaps ill be a bit devious and phone some other stealers around my area and find out what exactly is a "Perfomance calibration"... again thank-you
