IIRC the same thing happened to ****** about two years ago. The scratches on the face shield of his full-face induced me to go out and get one as well!

Glad to hear you're (relatively) no worse for the wear.
Certainly coulda been a lot worse!
A great reminder for us all to watch out for the FOD on the roads.
Sounds like you may be ready to ride before the scooter is.
Good luck on getting her fixed up (at least) as good as before....

well i dropped the bike off to get fixed today, and im actually benefiting from it big time. They are going to try and replace the front end with chrome under insurance, and the rear tire is going to be "flat spotted" the only bad thing is its going to be about a month or more before its back

Tough break....glad you aren't hurt bad. This is why i always wear leathers..regardless of the weather..i've been down too, and road rash hurts like hell! Hopefully, the bike will be as good as new..or better..after.

Yeah man. Good to hear that you're okay. That stuff is all metal. Can't replace flesh and bones as easily.
