Looks like you got more than your share of smart a$$ answers this time eh Bro?
I'll give you the real answer. Lots of people listen to tunes while they ride.
Those who don't have a bagger with a radio usually listen to an MP3 player with earbuds.
You should be able to hook up to your high tech phone or if you want I'll send you a little MP3 player you can use.
Just say the word, Bud! I'm happy to help you out.
I have never listened to music while riding, but have played with the idea of a small ipod.....might look into these ear buds, but in reality will probably just stay where I'm at.
I've noticedbagger riders seem to enjoy listening to music as they fail to keep up on group rides. Anybody else notice this? All the geezers putting along at the back of the pack fading in the rear view mirror? It is one of the things that irk me about HOG rides and then it is considered bad form to pass them. Turn off the damn music and ride.
I took a Glide out for a test ride a good while back and loved the inbuilt sterio with the fairing speakers. I don't like selk installed helmet add ins like helmet speakers - unless they are factory fitted and there is very little choice ir would seem for that option. Wearing headphones for me aches after a while so I've not really found a good alternative. I have looked into helmet Bluetooth factory fitted systems - but again apart from BMW helmets there is very little choice out there. Anyone looked at the Road Tech system from HD for Dynas - seems very expensive for nearly a $1000 and again probably not that worthwhile.
I'm a music lover, but I have not found a setup that suits me while riding. Regular earbuds don't do it for me...the sound quality over the wind noise is just not worth it(I even tried some "noise cancelling" earbuds and a full helmet to no avail).I actually have mostly stopped listening to the I-pod anytimewith earbudsand have gone to headphones/speaker system most of the time since I think I've done some damage to my ears cranking it too much with earbuds. I'm thinking about trying those custom made earplugs for riding, but they are high as a kite. I don't like listening unless the sound is decent, so I'll probably just keep on riding without tunes since Ihaven't really missed the music anyway.
