I had the same question. I read the forums and ask the same questions and in the end I decided on the Fule Pak. Like you I decided to run the V&H Big Shot Staggards and Screemin Eagle Stage I A/C. I decided to use the Fule Pak. After instalation I was pleasently suppristed at the performance of by Street Bob. I got more than what I was after (Sound and Power). I have put about 1k on the Fule Pak and it is performing fine. I am happy with it and all my mod's.
The following is just my opinion. I'm not trying to sway you one way or another. I have the fuelpak and am happy with it. However, I have no dyno numbers to know how my bike is really running with it. With that said, some have posted that they have not had as good results with it and wished they had done something different. One thing is for sure, with fuelpak, you've got what you've got and you cannot go and get it tuned.
Same here. I bought mine used for 150 bucks, so the investment was pretty small. I went with the - Keep It Simple Stupid - mentality... It works for me. And it works well...
But I do think about Trotter's infamous pic though...
So what I,m hereing is either vance and hines or yhe power commander will work .
All depends what If anything I,d want to do in the future to the motor.
Power Commander = Dynoable
Fuel pack is not ...??
I just want to get it right the first time .
Is there a big difference if any on the screaming eagle or the K & N air filters ??
I installed a 2008 Dyna low rider ( new style air filter cover kit ) I want to make sure what ever I buy ( filter) will fit ..
