Softail pipes on Dyna??

Softail pipes on Dyna??
Hey guys,
I read somewhere on this board just recently that this guy said that softail pipes fit Dyna's as well, as long as you have something to plug the O2 sensors with or come up with a different mounting bracket of some sort, and I was wondering if thats true? I have ALWAYS loved the look of upswept pipes, and these are just calling me.

Does anyone know what the deal is? I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I'm just curious if anyones done anything like this. If I were to buy them, what problems would you see me running into with them?

Hmm.. well, maybe once I save up some money then we'll see. I'm sure it can be done, I'm just checking to see if anyone else has done it first.
Will I have any clearance issues with the battery box, or anything else?

You can definitely put softail pipes on a Dyna, I have had 2 different sets on this one. The pipes that are on it right now are for a softail.
All I had to do was bend the stock transmission mount exhaust bracket into place.
As for the renegades...the only issue that I see would be battery box clearance. It looks like the rear pipe is made to fit snug to the oil tank on the softail.
