got em... love em... nuf said... oh ya... i drag em sometimes... so what... it has been almost 3 years and they are still going strong! i keep the bolt loose enough to kick the stir into the up possition so that it will not get too banged up... then i just push it down when i am done wiht the turn... easy... I do a ton of long trips to FL and missouri + more... they are great!
I have noticed alot of fwd controls to take place of my mids come with the shifter and brake pad on them, i wanted to know if they can be changed to somehing round and cool or are they fixed?
Guys,
I have a quick question regarding setting up the stirrups. I just got a set with pegs, and as the pegs are nice and tight, the stirrups slide down while riding making it uncomfortable to ride. I'm not sure if there is anything to tighten them up or what? Are they suppose to move? Any input would be appreciated :-) Thanks
I know you can adjust and tighten the stirrups on the kuryakyns (spelling?) really easy, there is an allen screw that runs through the peg from the outside, that holds the peg onto the male end that bolts it to the bike...between the peg and the mounting end is a big nut, that nut tightens down the stirrup, also the stirrup should be splined and only move so far, its adjustible so you can fix the angle. once you figure it out just make sure its damned tight.
