Engine Running Temperatures?
Getting paranoid about running temps & pulled my lowers. Was running 225* in 75* temps. Anyone have an idea of what's a normal range?
I'm carbed with a Mikuni 42-18 and V&H Pro Pipes and the bike is running great.

man, where are you measuring the temp at.
Normal at head is around 280 300.

I recently installed a digital oil temp dip stick. Not sure how accurate those are, but don't knowwhat'sout therethat measures the head temp.

I stuck my oil temp dipstick in boiling water, and it was dead on here near sea level. My oil temp is about 220 right after shutdown on a warm 75-85 day, so you are in the correct range.
