Its official with the XiED's installed my 07 FXD, big Radius and Big Sucker run approx 50 degree's cooler that it used to.
Same for my Wifes Softail Custom.
Power is better and smoother and no popping on decel.
Its a great product for the money and I'm very happy with my results.

I have been very interested in these for a few days now and am curious what is the main difference between the XiED and 02 IED, is it just the AFR Ratio? Secondly which one should I purchase for my 07 Lowrider with SEII Slip-Ons? I was leaning towards the XiED but I am dumb when it comes to the ECM part of the bikes, any input would be appreciated?

jrsmith-I've tried both and the original IED is fine for your setup. I also have SE slipons and I put on the stage I airbox and download and tried XIED and IED and there wasn't much difference, except I got poorer fuel economy with the XIED.

I purchased the Dyn OiED for my 06 FXDCI last night. My bikeis mostly stock, but I have SE Pro Torque Slipons (p/n 80061-00). I get a little decel popping once in a while and the bike is very hot at idle. I am hoping I can at least cut down on some of the heat. I'll post feedback after I install and test ride.

From the moment I read the post "High heat on FXDF" I started looking into the iED'sfrom nightrider, and even watched the video on youtube,'steve mullen talks to....." I think it was 20 minutes later I whipped out my credit card and ordered online. My bike is all stock right now and when I spoke to Steve (he answers his own phone) he was very informative.I can't wait to receive my Xied's ! iED's are basically electronic resistors or voltage regulators which trick the ecm to give you a richer gas / air mix.........as far as I know!

@ Jessie just call steve the number is on nightrider web page, but I can tell you what he told me was even with slip-ons they are an improvement ove HD stock ecm, and it sounds as though your a/c though ot stock is still just a/c not heavy breather or anything so you should be fine. I realize you posted this a while back so you are prolly sorted by now Cheers!

@ghostdude The o2 sensor is in the top of your exhaust pipe near the manifold front and rear.Follow the wire back to the end and you can't miss it.
