Whats the deal with the mail order guys and Thunderheaders. Parts Direct says 3-4 weeks delivery from Vegas to So. Cal. Killer price and I save on tax but 3-4weeks? My local indy is a bit higher + taxand called THwhile I was there. In stock and can have in 2 days?
Guess at this point im willing to pay a bit more and get the dam thing. I know the many of the mail order guys are just middle men who do not stock anything but how do they compete with those delivery times.
Also, if anyone will be interested, I will have an almost new (2 months old)set of Chrome V&H short shots with quiet baffles for sale as soon as I get the Thunderheader. Probably let them go for about $250. PM me if interested.

It's rumored that some Thunderheader resellers get priority over others.
I know a guy who was getting crappy service despite being less than 20 miles from Thunderheader HQ in Richmond, CA. He called his old friend Sonny Barger directly to complain and now he gets snappy service.
