Default stage one and power commander

what exactly does a stage one and power commander do for the bike? What are the pros and cons? And what are the best brands to get?

well i will go a head and give you some information... you can get alot more using the search feature, but i know it is somewhat hard to work with.

PCIII adjust fuel curve and spark. when you add new pipes andA/C you have to adjust for the added air flow. PCIII plugs inbetween the ECM and the ECM connector plug. it tells your bikes stock ecm to do something different than what it would do in stock configuration. PCIII and Screaming Eagle Race Tuner (SERT) are the top dogs for now. these are dyno-able. Vance and Hines Fuel Pak is another tuner but it is not dyno-able and is only mapped for certain pipes. not all bikes run the same, even bikes of the same year and model could run differently. that is way a dyno-able tuner, i think, is best. it gives you better performance. just do a little searching and you will find this topic discussed on a regular basis. take your time deciding what tuner/pipes/ and any other mod you want to so you dont have to redo those mods again.

Thanks for answering his question so clear. I searched as well and ended up more confused. I knew what they did basically, but that made more sense.

Take a look at this as a possible option / alternative - https://www.kitechperformance.com/st...on=show_detail- and no I don't work for them, just another satisfied customer.
