Default 08 fxdb exhaust question
Well I was bored today and took the mufflers off my 08 fxdb. I ran it around the block with just the headers and besides the occasional pop on hard deceleration, it seems like the delphi system is compensating good for the lost of back pressure. The motor didn't feel like its running hotter due to a lean fuel mixture but I really didn't get to run it too long. So I was wondering if anyone else tried this and what kind of results did they get from it?

When I swapped for SE's last fall I almost did the same, but was afraid I would burn a ring or jack up a valve. What did it sound like?

Be carefull,you can burn a valve fairly quick.

It soundin Loud and Throaty and I was actually really happy with the sound. I'm gonna be able to actually ride it for some distance tomorrow so and I'm gonna try and hook it up with the Digital Technition program and see how the motors taking it.
