As allot of you know I'm deployed to Iraq right now. So anyhow on to the story the actors from the Unit which I guess is a big deal show (don' watch TV myself) were making USO tour stops at different camps around Iraq.So anyhow not being a TV buff or really all that interested I didn't pay it much attention. But while walking across the camp I see a guy rocking a 3 piece with territorial patch. Having no idea who or what is going on I'm of course naturally wanting to talk to this biker since obviously its rare to get to do so in Iraq. As I get up on this person I notice its a Boozefighters patch all the more reason to talk to this guy. So the guy turns around and the guys with me tell me who it is Robert Patrick. T-1000 or the guy form X-files or the unit or whatever part you like to know him from. So we strike up a conversation and he and I talk bikes for about 10-15 mins all about parties and rallies and whatnot. So I also find outthat he and the other guy with him are both Boozefighters in chapter 101 with Robert being the chapter president. In the end he gives me his personnel cell phone number soI can contact him about becoming a Boozefighter. Apparently he has some pull (no **** right). Anyhow I know this may sound like a good yarn but I finally have the pics to back the story up.
Cool. Yep, he is largely known for his roll in T-2 but he also plays the Colonel in charge of "The Unit". That's actually one of my favorite shows when it's on. I'm not a huge TV buff myself but that's one of the few shows I do make the effort to DVR and watch when it's convenient. Seems like they take more time than usual off between seasons.
Very cool indeed, steelcowboy!!
Here's to you becoming a new 'Prospect' upon your arrival back home[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
I saw him doing an interview for American Thunder wearing the Booze Fighters patch, but I figured it was just for the show.
Stay Safe, brother
Aparently he wasn't dressed like this for the actual visit but hes taking pics of himself flying the club colors in Iraq. So I just happend to see him while he was doing it.
