handlebar position may be a factor in your decision......the one-disc in the front stops the bike.....
I will admit other bikes sometimes will "pull" to the side if the disc...
I can attest the fatbob is a charm to ride and just the ather day I was faceing a 30 mile drive wit 40 mile/hr head winds, but sort of coming at me on and angle from the right. Plus I have detatchable windshield.I felt it but nonetheless managed to not get blown off the road!
I neglected to mention, my current ride is an 07 FXD. I love the bike, it will be 2 years old in Feb, and I already have well over 35K on it. I just did a 1500 mile iron butt ride.
I was also looking at the FXDL, I guess I have about 2 months before I make a decision.
I like the FB, just concerned about the almost solid wheels and cross winds. I have heard some not good things about solid wheels and cross winds.
you will have no problem with wind and solid wheel's i live in the mountains and the wind blows year round high gusts at times and the FB just takes it all in stride...jmo
