Bah - I ground the nub down on one of my keys so I don't have to leave that stinkin' key in there anymore either way. What I'd really like though, is to figure out a way to make a decent slide cover in black to go over the whole lock mechanism...maybe fasten it from top center, and have it slide back & forth for when I need to access it with my key. Of course the hard part would be to make a cover that isn't going to rattle or swing back & forth while I'm riding...I'll figure something out one of these days
