I finally got the photoshopped pic back from a buddy and this is what the Bob might look like in the spring. The 440 shocks will be black for sure as they are already bought and delivered, just not installed yet, But what do you guys think? I loved the idea when I thunk it up but now that I'm seeing it full screen on my desktop here i'm not so sure I want to do away with the chrome. My daughters both prefer the full chrome look! Blast me with some opinions and i'll see what the survey says! Should I go all black, all crome, or combination like in the pic? I used the exact same pic as my sig for the example.
PS not forgetting I also have the scripted HD chrome battery band.

Of course to each their own but since you want opinions I like the way it is now! perfect balance of chrome and black. The "new" version looks great too but I like the current version a bit better
gotta be honest, not feelin the pipe lookin liek that.
if you want the black/chrome feel how about this?
black out the shocks and strut covers, chrome the battery band and leave the pipes chrome. that way the *** end will fade away into black and the motor and battery band will pick up the chrome from the pipes and you will have one sharpppp lookin ride (not that it isnt sharp now haha)

+1
I am also planning on black shocks but without covers. I think they blend well with the swingarm, but i think the shock covers make them look too wide. I think the chrome band will look much better than the aluminum band. I am not one for black pipes unless they are flat black. maybe you could have your friend do up another photoshop with these two votes for a comparison.
Thanks JT! That could very well be my direction right now,As I have the HD scripted batt.band already installed since July, and the prog 440 black shocks are in strorage right now at my neice's place. I'm just waiting to get them and slap them on. That plus the 2"tank lift and 2" riser spacers she'll be transformed!
