You know, I'm not really sure why your turn signals have to be touched at all. My sissy bar comes right off with two screws, no moving anything. Also, I just went to the Harley Shop and bought the basic detachable windsheild for about $350 works great. I have a 92 Lowrider. Great bike to have!
I have the Memphis fats 17". I still get some buffeting.I am going to look at the fork bag and see if that helps. Also wondering if it might be an inch or so to high. Some bikes I sat on at the dealer you looked over the windshield and others you looked through. Mine is right in between.
Anywhos windshield was 129 and bracket kit was 129
Dyna + Windshield = FUGLEY I hate the bugs ,excess wind andall the other road debrishitting me in the face like everyone else does. Problem isI've yet to see a windshield that doesn't detract from the great looks of our Dyna's. Don't flame me guys, but if you're gonna put a windshield on your beautiful Dyna's ,please trade it in for a bagger.Sorry...just my opinion and that's not worth much I suppose.
Try the windvest, or the rifle solo- (they are a little pricey)
Ihave an05 FXDLI with the windvest also a fork bag no real problems
took a little adjustingto get right. Also Had HD detachable sissybar and luggage rack added
with purchase.Originally turn signals were still on fender struts with detachable side plates and luggage rack.
I relocated them to thefenderto allow for room with saddle bags which I attached to a second set of sideplates
and backrest.
