Default Inner primary issue resolved!

Well, I had the bike infor the tranny recall. Busted out the service bulletin about the injectors on them as well! All went pretty well......then.....they said hey, we just got this, and handed me a sheet of paper. It was a message that the inner primary bearing has been looked at in enough bikes to validate the new design as good to go. The reason for it was obviously not because they knew it was bad, but because it was a new design and they wanted to look at it. He would not give me the paper, but it was on a sheet just like the one I got when I bought the bike saying it needed to be done every 15K. It sounds like good news to me!

Not sure how it will work. I guess when you come in for your regular 15K service, you will find out...... I am sure they will release something tothe owners?

Sweet! Thanks for posting this, sometimes it takes a while for news like this to reach CDN customers.

My dealer said they were still "inspecting" at 15,000 just to make sure because they didn't want any problems

Hmm, I guess that's good news...kinda. I was going to have them install a chrome inner primary when they did that job. Oh well.

Yours is silver powder coat right? Mine is black powder coat. I like the contrast.
