No they are not the standard size. They are the Deluxe Compact Slant throw overs SB-707. They fit pretty good without relocating the rear lights. However after a year or so they were looking a little worn and were not big enough, so I upgraded to a set of leatherworks bags. Way better quality and fit,also hold way more. Oh yea and way more $$$$ also, but worth every penny. Heres a pic..

if u are worried ,then dont get rid of your stock pipes,if you have problems with your bike. take new pipes off put stock back on and have them take care of what went bad then put new pipes on after,problem solved
