kolni, trotter, dougsdyna, all banned.... Waterman, Low, Sintax, Matkiwi... all just seem to be gone... Shame, they offer such amazing advice and knowledge to the forum... we alljoke around and poke fun, i think we all justneed a bit thicker of skin... I think is great Mud is a mod... he does awesome work, and helps us all out... but beyond that he has a great grasp on the tech of the forum (how to size pics, search, post, etc) to be a mod i feel that is key as well... Although i appr the shot out, i am not the Mod type... would take away from time doing what i love... working on bikes and riding the hell out of em! I will however, miss my friends
This is my biggest worry with all the HD guys going:

Mud is a great choice of mod imo ... has always behaved as mod here so its really just formalising his role

OK, my 2 cents....Take it for what it's worth.
You all have to look at the big picture.
This board is a business, plain and simple.
And any business has rules.
It's not , "come on in and do/say whatever you want" Forum.
I miss doug and trotter, and some of the others they probably forgot more about bikes than I and a lot of others will ever know, but they still broke the rules.
Prolly the reason we don't "know why they were banned" is out of respect for them, would you want your dirty laundry to be aired on a internet forum?
I, for one, would not.
No matter what, this is the best Harley chat Forum, bar none.
As per Dougs post he was warned and he, by his own admission, still did what he felt right.
And as for Mud being a Mod, I can't think of a better choice.
