8400 miles heck it's just a baby! I'll assume working at HD he knew well enough to keep records of oil changes and maintenance checks. an 07 is still under warrenty. If he kept no records he is either stupid or just plain bullshitting you!

You may want to run that by your local dealer that you would take it to for warranty work. I bought my FXD in July of '06. Was the first '07 sold at the dealership. I've got roughly the same mileage and it is almost two years old.
