Default '07 Wide Glide passenger pegs?

Everytime my chick would ride with me and we'd hit some bump in the road, she kept getting thrown. After bitching her out to 'plant' her feet, I noticed the passenger pegs are mounted to the swingarm which...follow me here...is a moving part and when it moves, anything attached to it, i.e. passenger pegs....'attached' to the passenger...moves. What dumbass decided that was a good spot for the passenger pegs? (Rhetorical) Shouldn't they be stationary? Does Harley purposely do dumb things like this so it forces you to do something with your ride?

Anyway, I noticed I could relocate them to the downtube underneath the seat but the left side is a bit challenging because of the belt and belt guard.

Anyone mod this and if so can you post pics? I have some ideas but would like to see what ya'll came up with too...

Thanks,
Vic

Might try passenger floorboards.

My wife has no issues riding on my Wide Glide. I have Harley's flame collection passenger pegs.

after trying out a lot of options, i finally put the larger Kuryakyn wing pegs/boards on my '06 WG and the wife. we've traveled a lot with this setup and the wife is happy with it now.

With the pegs in their original, swingarm-mounted position?
