its a fluid change and check pretty much everything service. I don't have my SM in front of me, so I can't be more specific.... could include replacing plugs, checking critical fasteners, adjusting clutch, etc.
Certainly not worth paying to have it done unless you don't want to do it yourself... in other words, if you are sitting there thinking "hmmm, I wonder if I could do this and save the money"... unless you are a complete idiot, yes, you can do it and save lots of money.
Do yourself a favor and get the SM and do it correctly. $50.00 to work on a $15K+ bike is well worth the investment.
