Default PCIII First Ride

Did the install today on my 08 FXDC.PCIII using the Dynojet Thunderheader SE filter Map. After using the dealer Stage 1 download for the last 2 months, I can honeslty say WOW what a difference. The decel popping is gone and the mid range power is night and day better. Bike runs much cooler. That popping was really getting to me as well as the hot motor.

The install was not bad at all. I read allot of info on here regarding theinstall/mounting etc. Saved allot of 4 letter words. I was done on about an hour including setting the throttle zero. So far i am real pleased.

Accelarator pump? Is this one of the parameters you can change within the PCIII software?

The only thing I have done is download the map and set the throttle zero. Now that its done I will start learning the other settings.

Beaver, you'll need to download the software if it didnt come with your set up. I just downloaded mine the other day and got it enabled. When you have the PCIII hooked up to the computer and without the PCIII software up and running just run the accelerator pump software. It'll allow you to adjust it and it helps with throttle response.

Ehretja,

Where did you download this software from? I only downloaded what was on the CD that comes with the PC. Would this be under "tools" in the PC software?
